In this season the Lord is releasing Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. He’s been speaking to me about this particular key to Revival for a while but today I feel released to share it.
Every time I visit a new nation there is passionate talk of revival. Many regions have prophetic words that the ‘Billion Soul Harvest’ will start there and spread across the globe. As I was pondering this I asked the Lord how this was possible? Surely only one of these words can be correct. Will revival really explode in multiple places at once?
He responded by showing me a vision of Jesus in the Valley of Dry Bones (Ezekiel 37). Looking closer I realised he was prophesying over a pile of body parts, each represented by a Messianic community.
A Restoration of Unity between the Churches will Spark a Worldwide Revival
Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. (Romans 12:4-5) NLT
While I visualised the body parts I saw that communities operating in the prophetic collectively made up the eyes and ears; serving communities made up the arms; healing ministries the hands; worship teams the knees; apostolic ministries the brain; missionaries the heart; intercessors and spiritual warfare groups the tongue….there was a place for everyone. Every Christian community, no matter how big or small had their place, but they weren’t functioning as a body. The members were separated, each attempting to function independently and consequently laying useless on the ground, unsupported.
Satan has been Attacking Unity among Churches for Centuries but New Revelation is coming that will Release the Keys to Revival
The enemy has been creating division in the body of Christ for almost two millenniums. New doctrines; new denominations; in an attempt to divide the church and cause Christians to judge one another.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: (1 Corinthians 12:5-7) NKJV
Satan knows the word of God and he knows that the key to unlock an open heaven is unity. For this reason he is relentlessly attacking marriages and the family unit – because he recognises the power in unity.
If Unity apart from God can Achieve ANYTHING, How Much More can be Achieved in Unity Together with God?
In Genesis 11 the people exercise their strong unity consequently building a powerful city (in their own strength without God). They plan to build the Tower of Babel to reach the heavens.
And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. (Genesis 11:6) NKJV
This is the key!! In Genesis 11 the people were working without God, yet he still recognised they could accomplish anything, so how much more will the body of Christ achieve when we are working together in unity WITH God?
He doesn’t want to withhold anything from his people. But desires for us to walk in the fullness of life that he created us for. It’s accessible to us right now. Unfortunately the church has been blind sighted for so long by judgement, bitterness, unforgiveness and jealousy which has created significant division between the ‘body parts’ of Christ.
I see that we are stepping into a season where the church is returning to it’s first love. In place of jealousy, bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness and judgement is coming a grace to forgive, accept and celebrate others. He is reminding us that we all speak the same language – THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST – but with slightly different accents (differentiated focuses).
Therefore I want you to know that no one speaking by the [power and influence of the] Spirit of God can say, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is [my] Lord,” except by [the power and influence of] the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:3) AMP
Prophesy over that which appears Dead and Watch His Resurrection Power in Action
As the vision continued I saw Jesus desperately, prophesying over his bride, interceding without ceasing, declaring the word of God as he IS the word made flesh. When he prophesied over the body parts I witnessed them coming together just as is described in Ezekiel 37. Once united as one body, he breathed life into her, the breath of God and she was filled with Holy Spirit.
‘Look! I’m going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin; I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ (Ezekiel 37:5b-6) NLT
Before him stood the most beautiful, perfect bride, without spot or blemish dressed in a dazzling snow-white bridal gown. Her eyes were totally transfixed on his, their gaze locked lovingly on each other.
I heard the words
‘fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.’ (Hebrews 12:2) ESV
Unity – The Key to Revival
Jesus is calling his church into a deeper revelation of diversity and unity – embracing every facet of the body of Christ around the world. Gone are the days of individual revivals – Azuza Street, Toronto, Wales or of independent men and women of God to carry revival – Maria Woodworth-Etter, Katherine Kulhman, Evan Roberts or Smith Wigglesworth.
The next revival to hit the earth is going to be explosive. A spark will ignite within individual communities that embrace the body of Christ and operate in harmony with other local ministries. I see fire breaking out over many nations at once, each fuelled by shared testimonies, prophecies, passions and revelations of others.
Every member of the church will be involved – there will be no place for ‘Sunday Christians’. Anyone that refuses to cooperate will be left behind because Jesus is calling us all to the great commission:
Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,’ (Matthew 28:19)
If we Lack Love, we Gain Nothing!
So what’s the key to unity?
If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all. (1 Corinthians 13:3) AMP
Finally, as the bride looks into the eyes of Jesus she is overwhelmed by his unconditional love for her. Each new day, Jesus is calling his people to step into deeper intimacy with him. A fresh revelation of his love for his bride is being released on the Body of Christ in this season. ‘We love because he first loved us’. To truly love our brothers and sisters we must first receive his love.
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other. (Romans 12:9) NLT
